    i had a pair of Crispi legends gtx for over a decade and i still wear them today with duct tape to keep them together. absolutely my favorite boot ever. however, i bought a pair of Guide GTX's and don't feel like i get the ankle support...it's weird so trying to find something different to get...

    thanks for the reply. that's a heck of an idea. go with more of a trail shoe for hunting and switch out. we'll be there first rifle season. so definitely some climbing but not sure i need or want the SF
