Good reminder, be careful guys! Last year I left my mulie skull out for a couple weeks once i got home before skinning it out to do my euro, so it wasn't as easy to skin. I was lazy and didn't wear my cut resistant gloves, pulled really hard at one point instead of taking my time and my knife...
Im curious to see if you figure out what exactly is going on ! My wife and father in law have raynaud's syndrome and have terrible circulation in their extremities, but you would already know about that if you had it i think. I get numbness in the toes on my left foot when my lower back acts up...
Maybe hansohn bros or somebody like salmon river solutions could make some AB caps.. i dont think the AB threads are compatible with anyone else's far as i know
They did more than a notice, they legit got raided. My understanding was that marketing and selling different sized reflex mounts as accessories are what was the main driver behind it. The end caps just got grouped in too i believe, don't know if they specifically came after them for that also
For a hunting rifle, the L-TI is a bit long for my liking and the S is perfect length to performance ratio for me. The L sounds awesome and is pretty dang light for its size though. Diligent defense cans are a good value like the resilient cans but I think the performance and removable end caps...
I'm mostly talking about getting max suppression by using an end cap that's closer to the diameter of the caliber you're shooting. It makes it a little quieter, I've never had a baffle strike but I guess it would make it easy to fix/replace if that did happen too.
I haven't shot any of OCL cans...
Either of the ones mentioned in the OP should be good if you don't mind the fixed 30 cal end caps. Scythe or enticer S might be worth considering too for you since you can get different sized end caps for max suppression on multiple calibers. I would say AB raptor but since you cant buy separate...
I would also lean heavily towards CAT over any other flow throughs personally, despite the possibility of getting one thats over the listed weight. At least the extra weight increases durability and its not just a mistake. The performance vs their size is incredible for me so far
I dont know if anyone near you would stock multiple CAT cans so you could have them weigh one before you purchase it, but if i was a consumer wanting to buy one knowing what i do now then thats what id try to do if 2oz extra weight is a deal breaker for your build. I wouldnt be surprised if the...
Heads up, if anyone wants to buys a CAT can and is concerned about weight over ultimate durability for a particular build. Im waiting to get my noah swapped out for one within their weight specs so i havent gotten to test it out yet, mine came in 2oz heavier than expected. CAT told me that lots...
Idk if that'll come in time but you could try calling the company tomorrow to ask if they'll overnight it? They are a very hunting oriented/friendly company I think so they may be willing to help you
Yeah just see what they've got nowadays. I have a couple older ones from them, one takes their included rechargeable battery pack but also fit AAA's, the bigger one same deal but takes AA's. Both have a dial button on the battery pack that lets you crank it all the way down or up in brightness
