You’re correct there is no standard (that I’m aware of) exactly where the measurements should occur.
If you’re trying to decide between the two, I’d consider ordering both to “try on”. I’m familiar with ordering from both and both will except returns as long as the gear/clothing...
I think all wardens when a violation is uncovered and the individual(s) are honest about it, will get treated better than those who lie, try to cover up, etc.
I don’t think wardens though are telling folks that they can’t plead not guilty though. Everyone has that opportunity.

The fact that you're sore, but not overly sore, I think is one of the main reasons they talk about keeping at or near Zone 2. I've had no trouble getting a Zone 2 (4-6 miles) workout the next day. I try and stagger my ME workouts and my twice a week strength training...
