Avg. elevation in TX per the google says 1,700ft. Bring that that +65lbs here to the West where trail-heads easily start @ +7k ft. and above. It all sucks...
Man...I wish I could have a do-over. I just turned 50 and ended up with a set of hearing aids last week to the tune of $6k. Lots of years shooting and upland hunting has put me at 40% loss in the left and 30% loss in my right with higher frequencies along with tinnitus. I'd happily give up a...

Same thoughts. This being my first pair of Crispi boots, I'd definitely not describe them as "stiff" by any manner and they felt warmer then expected for non insulated boot. My go to summer hiking boots have been Asolo's and they are not as warm as the Colorado's.
Throw them on and go. Seriously, they are not stiff like a full leather boot, so the break-in is minimal. I've yet to get out on a big hike with them, but I've been wearing them a lot during the week and have zero hot spots or issues to speak of.
Biggest difference to me was the low light performance and focus points. FPS was nice for the kids sports as well. I don't blow my pictures up to poster sized prints, so the lower MP hasn't been issue.

Eating fresh organic from the garden veggies is a waste, BUT you can buy a can of super GREEN Bowmar veggie/fruit powder for only $34.99 (or 4 easy payments of $8.75) ...right
OK..here you go. Standard issue bun length hotdog in a Minimo.
With a little ingenuity you can almost get your whole wiener in there by adjusting the angle of entry....
Drove over to Blackovis and picked up the Colorado's based off Jordans initial review and others comments. I have been a loyal Lowa fan, but wanted to try something lighter and more breathable for summer and early fall use. Really like the fit and the rockered sole. Boots snug up well, but as...
