We did a fair amount of testing in high winds. We used the X3 Adapter and 2 poles on Kodiak this year and the wind was vicious for days on end. The poles will flex a fair amount but they can withstand high winds.

For what it's worth, if you get sticking with any game bag including ours, if you put water on the bag, give it 15 seconds and it will cause the the meat to separate from the bag very easily.
