I don’t have them both in front of me but I do know the buckles are different sizes… 95% sure on that. So I don’t think that would work.
Like others said, consider the T&K non magnetic also.
It certainly could in my opinion. It's still a rain jacket so it'll inevitably be louder than a soft-shell, but it'll buck the wind better than any no doubt. Usually my clothing system runs like this, which basically uses the rain jacket as a soft shell for most uses. Base merino, mid fleece...
The chest zips were easier to zip and unzip compared to a pit zip I thought. Also gives you access to any pockets on your bino harness versus opening from the front. I carry my pistol in a chest rig so these side zips were perfect for accessing that when I had to use the jacket.. that was big...
It’s at least as durable. I’ve never had issues with my SEAK though. I would say a little more packable as well… I wouldn’t say like way more packable but I noticed right away it seemed to be a more “sleek” jacket if that makes sense
I wore the set in Alaska on my sheep hunt. We were in a lot of weather as most of you know and they worked really well. I think you guys will appreciate the new features - they really thought out of the box on some changes.
Hey @street I've been thinking about it some more... how do you think this bonus point/weighted system would work in a deer/elk/antelope draw where there are far more tags? Do you think it would scale more proportionally to the bonus points a person had?
I wish I'd have thought of that...

Hey gang -
Headed to AK in August for a fly in Caribou trip. Debating between a liquid fuel and canister fuel stove based on fuel availability in Fairbanks. My previous trips up there the stove has always been taken care of, but this trip is more DIY. Debating between my Reactor or XGK. I would...
I just tried them on back to back for a fresh opinion. Arm length is the same if not a touch longer on the Origin. Length is the same on both. The bottom of the shirt may be ever so slightly larger on the Origin and kalamath.. like in terms of an athletic fit the Origin seems to have a touch...
I wore it a bit last year. The facemask is not removable but does go behind your head when not in use. I didn't find it annoying behind my head but to each their own I suppose. I didn't use the face mask at all on fall hunts but this turkey season that will change. The outer face has a more...

Well folks, it pains me to do it but we've made the decision to cut the film contest.
Unfortunately we just aren't getting the traction that we'd hoped for. Thank you to everyone who has participated the last couple of years. Don't forget to post your videos below in this photography/video sub...
No I set it up inside. The nest actually has a reinforced floor where the pole goes and a spot for the top of the back pole. That’s one thing I need to fine tune and look at putting the pole on the outside or ditching it and using a taller stick or trekking pole
