Dang, thanks for that update. I was just about to buy that harness.

New Hornady 25 Cal A-Tip just released

No. Twist rate/stability calc I assume is why people are asking.

KRG Echo - Sporterish version of bravo for tikkas

Also consider if you want to use ctr, aics, or tikka pattern magazines. If you want a long action cartridge, bravo is a no go. I’d prefer tikka mags in a hunting rifle.

    Can we legalize suppressors now?

Here I thought "Moderators" was what tactical timmys called muzzle brakes?

#12 Annoying Debate Topic for fun: MOA vs. MIL --my take

Most Mil guys in the US shoot in yards as well. Doesn't matter which you use for target distance.

    Voter turnout

I went during lunch break expecting a line, there was none, booths were nearly full though. Maybe a perk of the jurisdiction being a pretty small township? Its a real bummer that they dont have more voting locations to spread people out for you guys that had to wait that long.

    Tikka 223 73 vs 75 vs 80 eldm

ABs #'s dont really make sense with the eye test IIRC compared to Hornady's. The 80s don't look to have any better form factor than the 75s to justify that jump..

    Tikka 223 73 vs 75 vs 80 eldm

Odd thing is AB gives the 80s a significantly bigger bc jump than hornady does.

    Tikka 223 73 vs 75 vs 80 eldm

Never found anything consistently good with 75 eld and factory lite barrel. 73s shot great. Didn’t try 80s. 1000’ish DA is normal for me.

Advice needed - cold bore issue, maybe?

I like the check on recoil lug and action screws. Try a different known scope. Talleys aren't cracked?

    Dry Fire system?

Maybe look a little closer on specs of a particular scope. I use one on a maven RS1.2 which has a 44mm objective. Memory is a little fuzzy but i may have had to use a thread pitch that wasn't exact but close enough to work, you just have to be careful not to force anything when threading it on.

Is this normal for brass to have a flat side?

Tikka 223 is the only bolt gun that I've observed this on.

What to do with the meat foreign hunter in Wyoming, Idaho and Colorado. Need meat cutters and places to donate

I'm not reading 7 pages of this but I will give a plug for big horn meats in Buffalo, WY. Dropped a quartered bull elk there in the morning and by the next morning i had all packaged into steaks, roasts, and burger, frozen ready for the trip home. Based on how the operation was, wouldn't be...

    Dry Fire system?

I hope you're not saying you dry fire practice on people? The DFAT setup from DST precision works well. I should use it much more than I do.

    Joseph von Benedikt vs Formidilosus

Curious how a bullet stopped in the shoulder but yet a bull stayed put? Does not compute. Must have damaged spine or got through the shoulder to keep the bull where it was. A bull can go a long ways on 1 shoulder. 175 ELDx are violent, that is true! A little more so than ideal for me.

    25 CM W/6.5 CM Dies

I wouldn't think twice about it. Pretty common for people doing new wildcats before dies are widely available and 257 and 264 are about as close as it gets for something like this. I've only experience with making 6.5 saum with redding 7 saum FL bushing dies before 6.5 dies were a thing. Worked...

TBAC Magnus full size vs "S"

That is a more attractive option for weight/length conscious hunting can too IMO.
