Also consider if you want to use ctr, aics, or tikka pattern magazines. If you want a long action cartridge, bravo is a no go. I’d prefer tikka mags in a hunting rifle.

ABs #'s dont really make sense with the eye test IIRC compared to Hornady's. The 80s don't look to have any better form factor than the 75s to justify that jump..
Maybe look a little closer on specs of a particular scope. I use one on a maven RS1.2 which has a 44mm objective. Memory is a little fuzzy but i may have had to use a thread pitch that wasn't exact but close enough to work, you just have to be careful not to force anything when threading it on.

Curious how a bullet stopped in the shoulder but yet a bull stayed put? Does not compute. Must have damaged spine or got through the shoulder to keep the bull where it was. A bull can go a long ways on 1 shoulder.
