    Try to keep it warm overnight so it dries out a bit and the moisture in the trigger assembly doesn’t freeze and rock on. Lots of folks flush out their triggers with lighter fluid. I never have but I’d look into it.

    The meat is the same volume in the bag or outside it so does it really push the bag out further if it's all pulled against the frame with the same compression straps either way? Keeping all my shit from getting soaked in blood is desirable. Having the weight close to your back is nice.

    My membership must have lapsed, i dont recall seeing that issue but then again i dont find much value in most of the ads and elementary stuff written in AH. What does he define as "Longer Range"? I'd like to hear the relevance of why a 130 grain 6.5 pill is the cut off.

    I'd also look into an AR pistol if that floats your boat. I just use a smokeless muzzleloader on the rare occasion i hunt a slug zone. have an 870 with rifled barrel and cantilever scope mount but really dont like shooting it.

    It might be a good idea to re-read the front end of a reloading manual to get the concepts of what is happening in the process. The two cartridges are similar but notably different in case/chamber dimensions.

    Sometimes there are not exits and blood trails regardless of which bullet you use. Anyone who tells you different is full of it. There are bullet options that will destroy more tissue than what you are using but may not penetrate as deeply. What you're using is fine.
