Yes, you would just omit the middle screw(screw right in front of the trigger). If the stock is inlet for the 1 piece floor plate/dbm and you convert to a one piece floorplate/dbm, it converts your rifle over with no issues.
Yes that's correct, the 300 wsm won't fit in the single stack magazine. I see they do this one now that takes the regular AICS double stack magazines. We would definitely have to get one in here to model for the inlet but it can be done...
This one works for 1 piece floor plate insetted stocks https://pacifictoolandgauge.com/winchester-detach-mag-metal/1402--z000-winchester-model-70-and-older-fn-police-spr-sa-stealth-dbm-with-4267w-mag.html
That’s definitely the intent of the thread! Thanks for
we were talking about 3d printing something to shorten the trigger reach but we could probably do it in carbon.
Yes they will work with little to no fitting. The main difference is they use a side bolt release whereas a true Remington action has the bolt release right infront of the trigger. We do make our 700 stocks fit the top bolt release so you don’t have to worry about fitting that.
No new updates. We already did the preliminary files last year so once we’re done with the Winchester 70 stocks that should be next to come out. And it shouldn’t take very long since we already did the hard part.
We just added another engineer to the team which should speed up the to do list.
There isn’t a concern for the integrity of the stock if it’s minor since the bedding block material extends all the way to the carbon shell.
Best technique for sanding would be either a file or a small dowel wrapped in sand paper. Depending on what you’re trying to fit.
It is only an annoyance on the engineering side. Each custom 700 action does have different ejection ports and bolt handle cuts so it takes a lot of time to create those CNC files to accommodate it. We don’t have a large engineering department so our priorities are to do new models and new...
To follow up on the latest S2H podcast. We barely scratched the surface on inleting! Also with the new inlets released for the rokstok, we’re getting a lot of calls and emails so hit me with your questions
https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/stock-inletting-questions.353454/
Since more rokstok inlets have been released, lots of questions have been coming UM’s way and ours so I just posted a thread for inletting questions.
https://rokslide.com/forums/threads/stock-inletting-questions.353454/
We’re laying up both at the same time but the first mold we did was the scalloped version so that’s why the first shipment had just the scalloped but I just did my production schedule for tomorrow and Monday and 12 non scalloped are being inletted for shipment next week.
No clue on the rokstok, win 70 requires it’s own mold so that would be up to @Ryan Avery and @Unknown Munitions
Ours will be out hopefully in the next few weeks. We’ve been slammed with r&d on other projects and retail orders but it’s next in line on the machine.
