    Gun protection while on horse

    I enjoy horseback hunts in the mountains. Early in my career I bit the bullet and had a custom leather Keith style scabbard built that protects the entire rifle. It’s paid for itself in the protection it has provided for my scoped rifles. It’s been on over 20 hunts and it’s still in decent shape.

    wyosam, yes….I find similar results, .1 is good to go for me if I am really wanting to be precise.

    Beam scale for me and then double checked on RCBS electronic pocket scale. Time consuming but I am anal about safety and enjoy precision ammunition even in my hunting rifles.

    Kuiu yukon

    The Kuiu Yukon runs really small . I am 6’4” 215 lbs 35” sleeves , 17.5” neck. I had to go up to Kuiu 3X and still a little tight for layering . KUIU’s model they base their sizing off of is 5’9” 145 lbs and they increase their sizing from there. Everything I have purchased from them is a crap...
