I’m not sure why the German made V6 is non-illuminated while the Japanese made V4s are illuminated.
With that said, I had a V6 with the Z-MOA2 reticle that was bold enough to be seen after legal shooting light.
Pencil barrels how they are keeping the weight down.
That’s a great rifle OP. Not sure I’d be too upset using an adapter. I have to run an adapter on my Howa Mini 6 ARC 22” barrel.
I've had the best Spot Hogg and Black Gold multi pin sliders in the past, but sold them all. For hunting, nothing beats a basic 3-5 fixed pin base model Black Gold sight. Those sliders all have some noise at the shot and I never used the slider function here in Tennessee. If your bow is for...
Also Conquests have huge eye box/FOV. Get the eye relief correct and it’s a large image that goes all the way to a very thin edge. It’s not like looking through a paper towel roll with large black interior borders in view.
I’ve owned several Conquest V4s and all have been reliable dialers. Plus, Conquests don’t have a limit on turret rotations while many brands limit elevation rotations to 1-2 turns. If you have the available elevation travel adjustment, you can get the full range with Zeiss. I won’t ever use it...
On SFP, I zoom to 1/2 power which doubles the values. On my Zeiss V4 4-16, I zoom to 8x and my 1 MOA becomes a 2 MOA. Awesome use of the magnification cause I have a much better FOV.
Zeiss #68 SFP
For fun, I shoot off the reticle vs dialing all the time. Reticle values are 1 MOA at full power in my Conquest V4 4-16. I set magnification to 8x and all my values are 2 MOA. I like this reticle for hunting and the center cross is illuminated.
