How do you go on choosing your broadheads, grains, bevels, fixed or mechanical, how will this affect the shooting?
Grains = match your field points
Bevel = Single is better but double if sine
Fixed vs Mechanical = If you shoot enough poundage mechanical is fine, if not stick with fixed. Fixed...
Plenty of 3D shoots within an hour or so of Madison. There is a facebook page "Wisconsin Archery Shoots" that has most of them posted in. Beast Mode Archery puts on events at Tyrol Basin Ski Resort(highly recommend these).
I have owned the Echo, Antero 2.0 and Shape Charge. For EDC I like the Antero 2.0. The Echo was too small for my needs. Antero has the dedicaded laptop pocket and the lid pocket which I find ideal. Shape Charge is great for hunting but not EDC.
I find that broadheads when hunting have enough drag to make up for the difference. As others have said it may be a yard or two difference. I also tend to shoot/hold a little low so if I am actually a little faster it works well for me.
Nock 2 It. I have tried a few others but nothing is as comfortable. Been shooting it for 4 years now. Will prrobably try a wise choise at some point to see if I like the three finger version or not.
Have had zero issues with the ultra in the last 3 years. The ultra and classic are the two most recommended. I believe the mini is the main one with issues.
He is very active on his IG account with "shop updates" I dont watch them all but I dont remember seeing anything on this. I have the 1st gen of the no mag and really like it.
Seems like that was the concensus in many of the reviews.
Thanks for the input. I believe both would do the job. I can get them for relatively the same price so its a toss up.
The resale value of the Kowa is what has me interested but I believe Maven would have the better warrenty if something...
