Had the tag this year. If you find elk don't leave them. Hunted the same heard for 8 days this year. I learned more from this years hunt than I have in the past 4 years combined. It is a unique area of the state for sure. Every unit almost has its own type of topography. Sorry not trying to give...
I have a pair of c3 12x50 I am looking to sell. They are esentially new. I sent mine in for repair in August and they sent me a brand new pair. I used them on one hunt. I am just upgrading. PM me if interested.
Bought during the summer and taken on one 9 day hunt this fall. More glass than I will need. In excellent condition. Will come with Olin adapter.
Asking $2000 for everything F&F. Buyer pays PayPal fee if G&S. I am willing to FaceTime and call anyone to prove I and the spotter are legit.
Omaha NE - with your kids age they have one of the best zoos in the country (Henry Doorly). I know its not the outdoorsy western road trip type thing but your girls would love it. Reasonably priced tickets. You could do that and then go park the camper and stay at Mahoney State Park. It is just...
Sofrin 100% for the red light. However comparing the white litght to that of a Black Diamon it isnt close. The Sofrin casts a wide beam where the Black Diamon is more focused.

Not a reason to quit
Consecutive seasons of seeing one or fewer elk
Change how you are scouting
Consecutive seasons of seeing little to no elk sign;
Change...
I believe the bungee cord will be hidden inside the of the fabric on the enclosure flap. Reference picture below, but it would be a pretty minimal design change to add a little fabric where the red line is then hide the bungee cord within it. The hardest part is how to keep the adjustable...
FOC is mythical. Stop listening to the ranch fairy. There is a reason why the same top archers mentioned above dont even bother calulating their FOC.
ACCURACY>everything else
Used both, no real difference. However I am probably going to go back to a 4 fletch after this season. Currently running 3 aae stelths max helical. Will go back to 4 fletch TAC drivers with 2-3 degree helical
I have a Garmin Fenix 6X Pro. It was a hand me down. Prior to having this I never could stand wearing a watch. Now I can't go a day without it. Had an apple watch years ago I never liked. Basspro has the solar version on sale for $400 which is a decent deal. I would also search facebook...
I have tried calling into the local field office for Idaho multiple times to speak to a game warden, biologist or wild life manager to get more insight/specifics on the units I will be hunting. Anyone have better ways of getting in touch with them?
What @Billy Goat just said. Maybe adding a twist into the cables would bring the poundage up but just viewing timing through the holes isn't 100% accurate. I have the same bow. Usually my 70lb mods run around 68/69lbs and my 75lb mods at 74.
