    I sure did. It just makes the original burner useless now. It offered very little to no benefit of blocking wind. I figured if I am going to butcher it I might as well go all out.

    Liked finding this! I cut down my JB Flash pot, cut off the bottom metal section that secures the burner to it, cut down the sleeve then bought a BRS burner. It took almost 12oz off my cooking system. It still only took 1:36 to boil water from room temp!

    The downside I see is that it isnt stuctured so you you would have to find the right branch to stick up into it to hold it up. Also the cost is about double that of the other two.

    If the 1k weave is superior wouldnt Victory already use it? Clearly they already had the material at their disposal. Like most UV stuff it is marketed very well but not superior to other products.
