I’m in the same boat.
I was looking at the Amazon aquasure harmony. The reviews seem pretty decent. Couple videos online make it look pretty easy to DIY install.

Saw some for sale for $569. That price concerns me because how much did they skimp on these Gen 2 to keep em within $100 of the Gen 1. Maybe I’m a skeptic haha but I might pick up one. At least it’ll be easy to offload to the Fudds [emoji23]

If I was gonna buy a lever gun, I’d buy an old 25-20. I realize this isn’t what you asked but I think they’re sweet and would be fun if you were a reloader!

Does anyone know if the action the same footprint? Wondering if it’ll fit in the “gen 1” aftermarket American stocks

Exactly what I told my buddy. We have each had multiple American predators. I saw msrp was listed at $729 and I told him I’d just buy a tikka for that.

Do you have the vertical grip on your stock yet? Helps it a lot for $30 haha I agree that a better stock helps significantly though!

The reviews I’ve watched read seem pretty positive.
How’s the bolt feel??
I think it would be a nice little tractor/truck/four wheeler gun with the tiny footprint.
