    Keep at it and don't give up. It may take 10 hunts for the right opportunity to present itself but if you give up after going 9 times it will never happen.

    Make sure you have tons of storage space. Large walk-in closets and preferably a walk up attic. We built a large jetted tub in the master bedroom which is almost never used. I would go with all walk-in showers and no tubs. There is no such thing as a garage that is too large.

    I know the jetstream is loved by many but I just don't think it is all that and I hardly ever wear mine. It is not very warm.     First Lite Furnace is what I use as a mid-layer. It is incredibly warm and I use it all the time throughout the year. It is probably my favorite piece. I wear it on cool Sept mornings during archery elk season, hunting whitetails at home and it is perfect for duck hunting as well.

    I have some Sitka, more Kuiu and only one piece from First Lite. It is the Furnace 3/4 zip top and it is probably my favorite piece of hunting clothing that I own. It is incredibly warm and the perfect mid-layer. I seldom leave home without it during cold weather.

    Flying with Bow question

    The airlines don't seem to care about bows or crossbows at all. I fly with a Ravin crossbow inside a hard sided suitcase and tell them there is a crossbow inside. They normally say ok and do nothing different than normal luggage. No locks required.
