    Schnee Kestrel

    The Missions are much stiffer. Much more "boot" than the Kestrels. I really like them both but very different. The Kestrels feel like hightop trail running shoes with great grip. The Missions feel stiffer than the Beartooths (for me).

    How have the Mission v2's held up? I'm a big Schnees fan and am looking at these or the Crispi Colorado for an archery elk / Coues deer boot. I have the Kestrals and I love them but looking for a stiffer boot when things get steep. thanks!

    What release are you hunting with 2023

    I practice with a Carter 3 finger Wise Choice and hunt with a Nock 2 it. They are basically the same but for whatever reason this works for me.

    Boot similar to timberline?

    I rotate Kestrels and Beartooths to keep my feet fresh. I want to try the new Schnees Missions. They are a lower boot but are supposed to be fairly stiff. May be worth a look.

    I just ordered the AD. Looking forward to seeing how it holds up to rocky, nasty coues deer country. I have had a number of different tripods but have never been able to keep one together more than 3 or so years.

    Best 100ish qt cooler for ice retention

    Canyon Prospector 103 is a very good option. Like most I have a couple of Yetis and a RTIC. The canyon is as good or better than the others, just bigger. reason I picked the Prospector is because it is long but not real tall. Fits under my Diamondback bed cover.

    I love my Kestrels. They are not real stiff but held up well when packing out meat. I wear a 13 Kestrel and a 13 Crispi. They fit true to size.
