Thx. I run 1.5 degree offset on a left helical for my 3-fletch, mostly fore southern whitetails. I was curious if I need to back off the offset some to shoot past 60 yards, avoiding the parachute effect. Thanks.
My bows have been clocking left, but I have a new Elite Kure that I haven’t clocked...
How much offset are you running on 4-fletch arrows for grouping at distance - none, moderate, high?
I’m building a .204 platform, Bohning Heat vanes, probably about 12%-14% FOC.

Are you looking for custom build or just a commercial arrow?

I’ve only had it a season, but I really like the Sevr HD Target - six sides, 21” wide, dried on one side, line tuning print on one side, carry handles, and includes an arrow puller. It also has grooves for strapping/banding multiple targets together.

Sevr broadheads have a practice mode that keeps your blades from deploying and allows you to shoot your actual broadhead-arrow combination. That was a major selling feature to me, on top of all the other features of that mechanical.

My specs are very similar, 29/63. I shoot a 123 gr. up front on a .340. I’ve known I was borderline too weak, but I’ve gotten good results with this build. I’m pretty diligent with my arrow builds. That being said, I’m moving to a .300 and about 150-175 gr. up front, and shortening my arrow to...
CBE Engage Hybrid. I have the 3-pin for whitetail and the occasional long shot or Western hunt. Hard to beat, esp. at the price.

I’ve been shooting an Elite Option 6 for the past three years. I test shot an Elite Remedy (34” ATA) with their new limb pocket tuning system. Son, that thing is an absolute joy to shoot. However, I won an Elite Kure that is basically a 32” ATA predecessor of the Remedy. I’m about to set it up...
Does the Hamskea’s cradle stay up when you letdown? I hear a lot of favoritism regarding it, but I like that feature in the QAD HDX and MXT.

There’s a lot packed in here.
1. I love your life rules.
2. 4vs3 fletch for clearance is viable if you’re going lower profile. Sounds like you’re seeking forgiveness, fundamental to life. Adding vane, adds drag, adds steering for broadhead planing.
3. Tune the bow to the arrow. To me...
You might consider the CBE Engage Hybrid 3-pin. I switched to it for mostly whitetail and an occasional Western hunt. It does have horizontal pins, but I really like the dovetail, small housing, metal sight scales, and the price.

Shot a couple new Elites - Remedy and EnKore.
That Remedy is all that! I felt the peak weight felt early in the draw cycle, but it transitioned into the smoothest of the draw cycles REALLY quickly. It's almost frightening how 70 lbs. felt compared to my Option 6 at 63. Held easily and rock...

I would look for a used EZ Green. Short of that, the best prices are at www.fulcrumarchery.com.
I won mine in a give away before I knew how to work on my bow. I also have a Bow Master that I used twice before i had my LCA
I I’d now have 3 bows and can do 95% of what I need to. If I’d known how...
Or at least manipulating the aggregate of those things. I’ve found nock tuning to be a beneficial tool to my overall process. I do it as a bare shafts thru paper, then again if I get “outliers” after fletching and shooting a bit.

27s are acceptable in 3D too, correct? I had thought about cutting some Gold Tip 30X’s down to my typical length to use indoor and 3D. They my be more forgiving if left long (assuming they’re straight enough) and the extra 3-4 inches/27-35 grains won’t make enough of a speed difference...
