Promaster XC525C w/ Sirui VA-5 Fluid Head - $250 shipped | Prefer FF - add 4% if paying with G&S
Tripod and head have some small scuffs from use, but it functions fine.
Total weight of the tripod + head is 3lb 2oz.
I prefer to not separate and sell as a single unit.
Definitely ensures the barrel is free floated. With a thicker contour barrel there would be less of a gap, obviously. From my experience, the gap hasn't caused me any performance issues and it does not get in the way or caught in anything. The gap is really only an aesthetic thing
Here is what it looks like on my 6.5CM, but there are numerous other pics on here showing this exact setup. No issues with running a T3x Lite factory barrel and KRG bravo.
I’ve used the polymer cinch for about 5 months now. They stay in my Nikon Laserforces 100% of the time and don’t effect ergos.
I use them with an AGC Kodiak Cub bino harness, and although the Laserforce + Cinch fit in there, it is not an easy or smooth one handed operation to take them out of...
I don’t bother cleaning any of my guns anymore. 2k rounds through my .223 in the past 1.5 years since I bought it and haven’t cleaned it once.
Here is the last 10 shot group I put through it last month before hunting season - just over 1 MOA. Good enough for me so I don’t see a point in...
All ammo I shot was factory ammo.
Off the top of my head, around 1,200 rounds were with Hornady Frontier 75gr HPBT (FR320) which was fairly easy to find in bulk. The rest was shot with Black Hills 77gr TMK.
Broadside shot with 77gr TMK @ 219 yards on whitetail deer out of my 20" suppressed T3x.
Impact velocity around 2300fps. Deer ran 20yrds before succumbing.
I will confidently be using this rifle and ammo combo on many animals to come.
Thank you. I learned how to quickly and effectively build a field shooting position so I could confidently make a shot on game, spot my impact, and send a follow-up shot if needed.
After 1500 rounds, I was getting over 80% hit rate on 8" steel plates from prone off a bipod or pack at 500yrds...
Took the advice of some on this forum and bought several cases of .223 ammo to practice with this year. Shot about 1500 rounds in the 10 months leading up to deer season out of my Tikka w/ 6x SWFA. All shots were taken away from the bench and most were shot for score/timed from different field...
Any insight as to how the Fury 5000 AB and 3200.com perform in cold weather (i.e. below 10-15F)? Do they both still range accurately? Or does one have a noticeable degradation in performance when ranging in colder temps?
Very interested in this as well.
I’m especially curious about the details of the reticle you’ve thought up, and what it looks like. I'm guessing its similar to the THLR reticle minus the ranging scale?
Razco Bino Harness Chest Holster for G19 (Shell Only). Ships USPS First class for free.
I made a cut on top so the shell will fit a G19 with an RMR (or probably any other optic you have on your G19). Cut does not effect retention.
Includes all hardware to attach, but you will still need the...
What jacket/pants have you seen users be comfortable wearing in true cold weather hunting scenarios? I'm talking in temps ranging from -5* to 15* where they spend hours with no movement. What fill weight/insulation type works best in those ranges?
Last season I hunted northern MN and temps...
I've tried both the RYO bino harness and AGC Kodiak Cub. I wear the RYO if I'm just out on a day hike and want something lightweight. For hunts I take the AGC. Harness is comfy under a heavy pack and taking the binos in/out is easy.
Back pocket easily fits a Tyto with extra blades, InReach goes...
