Although I agree with @Lawnboi, the Stay on cases are a pain in the butt but provide the best protection all the time. Id get the body piece and leave the eyepiece cover at home. You can wash them, and they provide the best protection.
Nice. I’m not too worried about installing it, I just have no clue where. I have a 7 x 9. My tent is just too small for 2 people and a stove. So 1 person it is and a stove I guess.
What are you going to do on the floor under the stove (as far as protection goes).
I can’t agree with one post more on this thread. It’s usually 1 or 2 units that screw it up for everyone. My guess is that a lot of this is coming from elk hunters looking for a few units that quite frankly could be considered as controlled units. Could you imagine if Wyoming general units were...
I would think that Idaho would like to keep their early dates. They want their market share of the tags. Early dates are part of what creates the pandemonium. Idaho wants the first crack at NR dollars. Also, it seems like the fact that the controlled draws happens so late keeps the odds better...
Are you thinking like a Montana system? Their system is similar Other than they do 3 points. If you do one point cap, at some point there could be (high likelihood) more people with one point than general tags available, everyone with one point won’t draw, so then you have to either increase...
So if it’s just like the controlled draws, then you get one maybe two points? I pray it’s not another bonus point system.
If the complaint really is just a crashing website….. then don’t allow NR to return tags and for crying out loud move your tag sale to the same damn year in which the tag is...
Its been my experience that they dont at all. Camofire will occasionally have some packs and clothing. Even when SG does their black Friday Sale, the only thing you get is a free pair of socks when you spend $500.00. If you are bent to get a deal on some SG stuff; id try used. If you search...
That is an encouraging review. I do understand that not every boot is for every person! Im looking for a boot that works for "Low angle approaches", but can double in high country. I hunt areas that have Lower desert terrain but then quickly jump up to country where you do lots of side hilling...
Hey Man, Curious on your Aequilibrium's; im looking for something a bit more technical for some of the areas im shed hunting and Deer hunting. I do use them to cross some flat country to get up in to cliffy stuff. I experience a lot of foot fatigue and typically wear a 2-3 flex boot. i have 2...
Hey Man, I know Fit and feel of every boot are dependent on the person; but Im looking at the Salewa Ortles Ascent Mid GTX to go try on. Whats your long term review on these? My main concern is the durabilty. How are they holding up? How is the waterproofing? How do they feel on flat terrain?
I have an XT 24. Base model, but works well. If I were to ever upgrade I would get one with WiFi capabilities so I could check temps without going out.
I have used camp chef smokers for years. You can get one to smoke plenty of both for under 1k. Its goes down to 165, lower I think! You won’t be upset with a pellet smoker. They do a good job and the ease of use and maintenance is low!
