Ha I was thinking the exact same thing
And this ^ is what will get the thread closed down. Thou shall not mention anything bad about the above parties.
I do wish more companies would air their dirty laundry on forums though, it sure makes it easy to know where not to spend my money. I don't...
2024 archery bull. A good representative of the area I hunt, they certainly get bigger but this guy is a little above average. Wild vocalizations he made as I called him in make this a memory that won't soon be forgotten.
Hehe nothing about intellectual property, game bags, rafts, float trips, airplanes or misleading information are of much concern to me. There are different ways to handle disputes, some are better than others.
I bought the Vortex Bantam for each one of my kids (8 and 4 years old). I think they were like $60 each with a discount code. They certainly aren't fantastic but for kids they are well more than enough. My kids are both pretty hard on things, especially the 4 year old so the warranty I am sure...
I was thinking the same thing. Although I have to admit I won't be spending money with either party after this soap opera. With that being said, please continue, but lets get to the real good parts soon, I am at work, it's 92 degrees outside so I have no bulls to chase until tomorrow morning.
I understand the arguement...but I do wonder how many guns they get back from dum dums like me who buy a new rifle, shoot it like shit, blame the rifle, the scope, the rings and the ammo before ever looking in the mirror.
They do a full inspection before shooting to verify that there is no...
I have the same rifle, tried a pile of different ammo but could not get better than 1-1.5" groups. Called Seekins and they recommend factory Hornady ammo, the 143ELD-X and 147ELD-M. Sent the gun to them and they shot a sub 0.5" group with the ELD-M and sent me the target. Long story short, the...
As folks have correctly said before, if in doubt err on the stiffer side.
For a total arrow weight of 450gr there can't be a ton of weight up front while shooting the axis (probably 125gr head and 16gr insert) so assuming nothing will change but the arrow, a 250 spine is probably not needed...
The wife prefers pronghorn steak over all other game, but doesn't like the burger. I didn't think she could actually tell but the night I made spaghetti and she took one bite and asked why I used antelope instead of elk I knew it wasn't in her head. Personally I can't tell the difference between...
Pulled a depredation tag in early August and was able to fill it with my boy. Got her back to the pickup and he looks at me and says "that was a great night dad"
Sure makes a guy feel a certain kind of way.
The wife has killed a bull elk each of the last three years with hammer hunters. All between 250-400 yards. None of the three have made it more than 50 yards and two of the three have been hit square in at least one front shoulder. I only bring up bullet placement as I process all my own game...
Ah, ignore all I said I just read you are a lefty with a left tear. I would expect to see a right tear if you are having fletching contact and shooting thru paper at a short distance of 5' or so.
Don't discount that it could be fletching contact with the roller guard as well. I have a V3 so the roller guard is pretty close. I keep a bare shaft to paper tune and shoot at distance to check paper and recently shot through paper and had perfect arrow flight with the bare shaft but a gigantic...
This guy is local to where I live, but heads that way to guide this time of year. I watch his reports when he is guiding rivers near me and have found them to be helpful and generally pretty accurate to what I am seeing as well.
