I bought a Tikka in 6.5 CM recently. It shoots 10 rounds under 1" with a variety of ammo. I'm very pleased with the gun.
It has a SWFA 6x scope with sportsmatch rings very solidly mounted.
The question is if they can get the firearm out as to the number and types of locks you need. Likely, one of those cable locks will allow too much opening allowing retrieval of a weapon.
I've never flown with a bow, but I just pack a handgun in my checked luggage. Locked, hard case, check...
7X Leather has a good holster setup. It was never in the way when wearing a bino harness. Not sure about the bino chest holsters, but I think it would be adjusted to work without an issue.
I like .454 Casull. I like .45 Caliber. You can also get bunny fart cowboy action rounds in .45 Colt or go the wrath of god route in .454 Casull..... plus anything in between.
408 Chey Tac is the bare minimum that should be considered for mule deer, much less elk.
.270 Winchester will probably be fine even past 500 yards, but you'd need to know the details of the bullet/load you are using.
That's what I understood. They are actually native to here.... They made it around the world and after the ice bridge melted, something killed all the horses here. They were reintroduced by the Spanish....

The energy equation puts a premium on the velocity as if you do the calculation, velocity is squared while mass is not. It's a good tool to compare cartridge performance, but it's not perfect. I think John Linebaugh said something along the lines of "Velocity is a constantly diminishing...
I have a real issue spending the kind of money asked for merino wool/performance clothing that is asked for when it is made in China. It's possible that there is more in the cost than I realize, but $50 for a pair of boxers is high and especially when made in the land that does everything so...
An autoloader like Glock, H&K, S&W M&P are pretty reliable. That being said, I still like revolvers.
I've gone back and forth a little on this and somewhere I read about stopping a Grizzly Bear Charge you pretty much need a deep penetrating shot in the CNS... which makes a good deal of...
Personally, I'd rather have a truck bed with a camper shell than a 4runner for hunting/camping. I'm not sure why you really need another truck though. It does get in and out of tighter spots for sure, but that seems like a small inconvenience to the cost of buying/having another vehicle...
Most people don't read the details like you might. They are just trying to protect themselves and run their business. When a good customer and a good company does business, it works fine.
Good on you to work with them to get a better contract. Good luck on your hunt!
