    rest suggestions

    I prefer a limb driven as they are far simpler to set up, and you can maintain them in the field if you had to. I’ve never had a failure with Hamskea rests. I know plenty of folks that have had issues with QAD.

    What is everyone getting for velocity with factory ammo out of a 7mm-08?

    Seems pretty close actually. I load 139 gr with a mild charge of Varget for my wife’s Vanguard which has a short barrel and it’s 2640. As others have said velocity numbers on the box are usually optimistic at best.
