Anyone actually have a set of these and can compare them to the Meostars? The price is very tempting but I don't want to be disappointed by the view through them.
$30 everywhere else. Been looking to pick one up for a few weeks to maintain my blades in the field.

Couldn't recommend Ken more highly. I just purchased one of his mini Arca plates and for some odd reason my panhead just isn't quite to spec. No fault of his, but he went above and beyond and machined a custom replacement at no additional cost. Machining is top notch and he has been so great to...
I picked up an SPCH20 a few weeks back and pretty impressed with it. Weight is great and the controls are tight with fluid movement. My biggest optic is a 50mm Nikon spotting scope, so I'm not pushing it as much as some of you with bigger spotters.
I have not had a chance to compare it to the other 50mm scopes. I did do extensive research before going with the Nikon and all the positive reviews here pushed me over the edge. The birding community is really high on it too. This year will be my first chance to use it in the field, so I don't...
I don't wear eyeglasses, but do have an ED50 with the MCII eyepiece. At highest magnification I imagine there will be issues with eye relief and eyeglasses. That's definitely my biggest knock on this setup.
Thoughts on the best ball head? I alternate between a Nikon ED50 scope and Meostar 10x42s. I'd prefer Arca swiss compatible with separate panoramic control. My current Vanguard pan head is just too bulky/heavy.
