I just wish they had it in solid colors.
It should work good I guess I run on the cold side.
Not sure if there anything else out there similar with pit zips.

Update,
After some more head banging on the wall I won’t even keep the Pnuma, it just don’t feel like it would be wind resistant.
It failed this test.

(hold the fabric against...
Yep, 55* Fahrenheit, static or really low activity windy don’t recall the wind chill but let says 48-50F.
I don’t like the look of regular puffy jackets.
Just looked at the Element spec and like you mention that one says 100% windproof.
The Kenai says wind resistant, so was wondering how wind...
On this one I used a Patagonia R1 as a mid layer
Sitka Jetstream
Kuiu Axis
Pnuma Waypoint
Condor Summit
Neck Pressure
Feel some
pressure when looking down
No pressure when you look down
No pressure when looking down
Small amount of pressure when looking down
Elbow Pressure 90*...
They definitely are thicker than the Sitka and KUIU so they might not work for you unless is really cold.
Specially the Pnuma have a thick fleece backer/lining.
Between the Sitka and KUIU I would choose the Sitka the big pockets are nice, plus I like more where it have the pocket locations, I...
More than likely would be the Pnuma.
It might be overkill for most of my winter, but at least I won’t suffer on the next soccer game if is windy.
I already contacted them about how the Medium would fit around the waist.
As the Large is super loose/baggy around the chest and shoulders but fit...
update:
I posted my overview of them here:
https://www.rokslide.com/forums/threads/my-impressions-of-sitka-jetstream-kuiu-axis-hybrid-pnuma-waypoint-and-condor-summit.251602/
Jackets were not field-tested, so not a real review, only impression/overview inside the house and outside, as the temperature raised a bit this past few days.
Breathability and wind protection were not tested as the wind also died.
Edit: for some reason the table don’t work on the Tapatalk...
Would start a new one and post the link here and a link to get here from over there as well.
Here are the categories:
Main zipper: how it feels smooth etc
Chest pocket zipper: same
Hand zipper: same
Pit zips: same
Inside pocket zippers: same
Hand pocket size: would try to measure
Chest pocket...
Thanks for the update,
I guess I would pass on that one but for $150 if there are any left seem to be the best rain jacket.
Update:
today I received the 3 soft shell and I’m super impressed with one of them so far.
Not sure if I should start a new topic with my impression of them or just add...
Thanks for all the suggestions,
I think I would have to pass on the Forloh only because I need a solid color and they look weird in solid colors in camo they look awesome plus are Made here USA.
Just got a reply back from SG regarding the De Havilland and M7 they mention the M7 is warmer than...
Yes, post back once you get it, as I'm not completely sure if it has any type of fleece backer for warm or just the raw plastic feel / unlined.
Thanks for the head up, but it seems that the Axis is a hair warmer, so I might end up trying that one.
I saw that one before, but I'm not 100% sold...
Good thing I found this, I have a question about this two as well.
Looking to replace my Patagonia R1
https://www.patagonia.com/product/mens-r1-regulator-fleece-pullover/40110.html
But want it to have a hood and wind protection.
The main purpose is to be used inside and around the house over...
That one also looks good, but it seems they no longer offer gray.
You didn't mention it so I guess is not a big issue, but do you feel the Waypoint is heavy?
Also, does it have the fleece lining inside the arm length and inside the hood, or is that only in the front and back?
Mid-weight...
It seem they don’t know their line up, or they don’t considers those pit zip.
Below there response.
It seem they call those bicep pockets.
Just to make sure they end before the arm pits?
It seem they might or might not work ok to dump heat is they only by the bicep, I think most of the heat...
I got a reply back from them and they don’t offer pit zips.
That one of my must have.
On your experience,
What temps have you used your and what do you had under?
I’m looking for a do it all jacket with just a T shirts for casual use.
Today is 50F and the wind is at 18-20mph feel like 44F...
