Interesting, every time I have visited the page it says 'coming soon' https://www.stoneglacier.com/collections/day-packs/products/tokeen-2600

Ark vs Duplex, a comparison review ***Updated 5/29/24***

I agree - pack frames are a personal choice and not everything works for everyone. That being said, prior to the Ark Frame coming on the market, I feel that the K4 was consistently winning out on all of the hunting pack comparisons. Would love to see if the new Ark Frame changes that at all; but...

Ark vs Duplex, a comparison review ***Updated 5/29/24***

Fully understanding this was a comparison between two frames, where the new Ark frame clearly won, I would love to see a comparison with the K4. Most reviews on this site - while comprehensive - are overwhelmingly positive making it difficult to compare (for instance from the K4 to the Ark Frame...

AKEK CLIMAX 5400 REVIEW / A NEW CONTENDER

Thanks for the review, I am trying to find more on the comfort and breathability of the suspension. Any new thoughts on how it carries weight?

Lightweight tent that doesn't use trekking poles

I wonder why nobody has mentioned the new MSR Freelite. I have not used it, but had my eye on it.

The perfect tent (freestanding, double walled, 3-4 season, 2-3 people, under 5.5 lbs)

Thanks - I ordered a Hilleberg, although it will be on backorder for a little; why do you see the Mountain Star as better than the Stone Glacier Skyscraper (which can have either a mesh or solid interior)? That was my second choice...

The perfect tent (freestanding, double walled, 3-4 season, 2-3 people, under 5.5 lbs)

Agree, but the Rogen, Nyak, and to a lesser extent the Allak, Jannu and Unna (red label are all heavier) all come in close enough to the weight. I am curious how yellow label Hilleberg tents stand up to occasional 4 season use?

The perfect tent (freestanding, double walled, 3-4 season, 2-3 people, under 5.5 lbs)

Yes - will be curious to hear how the Skyscraper does. Reconsidering the earlier recommendation for the Hilleberg as well - as well as other Hilleberg tents...

The perfect tent (freestanding, double walled, 3-4 season, 2-3 people, under 5.5 lbs)

Seems to me this is clearly in their yellow label '3 season' section - do you know it well and think it works for 4 seasons? I know that Hilleberg doesn't comment on seasons, but this is defined as 'an excellent choice for any trip during the snow-free months of the year where very light weight...

The perfect tent (freestanding, double walled, 3-4 season, 2-3 people, under 5.5 lbs)

Thanks for this, I actually have one of the Durston tents, but am looking specifically for a freestanding option...

The perfect tent (freestanding, double walled, 3-4 season, 2-3 people, under 5.5 lbs)

I am looking for the jack of all trades tent: A free standing tent that can comfortably house 2 people - I have mostly been looking at 3P tents - that works in 3-4 seasons. It can be a tough 3 season tent, or a well ventilated 4 season tent. Hoping for it to be freestanding (not...

    New Stone Glacier packs added

Thanks - I am looking at adding a camera insert, and want to ensure I can get a camera with a long lens out easily, while the pack is fully packed.

    New Stone Glacier packs added

Has anyone here tried the Terminus? If so, I have question: the Terminus 8700 seems to meet a lot of my needs with the one caveat that it has the side zipper instead of front panel access, I am trying to determine how easy it will be to get large items from inside the bag when the bag is fully...
