This was 1.8 mines as the crow flies on state forest land in Northern PA. That's a whole boned out deer. The only thing I left was a little neck meat. I made it out in one trip, but honestly it dam near killed me. I'm in my mid 50s and after this one I started doing them in 2 trips. When I got...
The only time I've worn rubber gloves was cleaning and butchering a bear as recommended by the outfitter. I would probably do it for pigs too. For deer/elk/small game I just roll up the sleeves and get R done. I have hunting buddies that glove up to their armpits. I just shake my head and smile.
I picked this up several years ago but never used it. It has been bedded previously but looks well done. It may or may not need rebedding depending on what you put in it. Looks to be a sporter channel.
$225 shipped. Check or PMO. No electronic payments at this time.
drove 4 hours to Ohio for what turned out to be 1 hour of hunting, but i cant pass a 14 yd gimmie. 2 bucks in under 2 hours of sit time. Same arrow and broadhead as Thursdays buck too. (we won't discuss the 10's of hours of nothing leading up to it though)
No monster but I'll take it every year I can. 1968 Bear Super Kodiak I picked up this summer for $100. Too much weight for most guys I guess. The coon was crouching in my trail one morning in the dark and wouldn't run, so I turned my headlamp to the side of my head and brained him from about 7...
Guys like this are the reason LL Bean had to drop their lifetime warranty. On the other hand (or foot) as a company you either are truthful in your advertising or you are not.
I actually over estimated on size and weight when I shipped it, so that's BS. Either way, it's a one and done for me. I didn't realize when you use them you are giving them automatic payment access to your account. It's not that $3 is going to break my account, it's the principle. If they had...
Just a heads up guys. Apparently Pirateship thinks it's ok to "adjust" what you paid a week after the package was delivered. FWIW the package I shipped was less than the dimensions listed and was under 4 lbs (down sleeping bag).
You have to print the label and send it to the seller but I don't see why not. FWIW the sleeping bag I need to ship was $24 UPS ground. The sight said standard shipping without Pirateship was $44 but I have no way to confirm that easily. I'm just going to drop it off at the UPS store this morning.
I'm going to try this Pirateship on a sleeping bag but reading the comments about insured vs unisured made me laugh. USPS insurance is about as worthless as wet toilet paper IMHO. 😁
