I’m a CZ 452 fanboy, owning multiple platforms in multiple calibers. A CZ452 chambered in 17HM2 has long been my favorite combo as I’ve commented here before.
Over the past year though, I found the Steyr Zephyr IIs and have to say they are quickly competing with the 452s as my favorite...
Liquid IV or an electrolyte tablet like Hammer Endurolytes. I don’t like Liquid IV while being active (running), but like it at the end of the day, if working outside, etc. I prefer the tablets when being very active.
Personally - I use Hammer products. Gels, Endurolytes, Perpetuem, and Recoverite.
I ran through highschool, college, and now run ultra marathons competitively. I would agree that speed and distance have their places. We’ve done months on end of high intensity interval / fartlek / tempo based...
I went SBE3.
I was concerned with the POI issue that is discussed all over the net with the SBE3, but when holding it and the A400 Xtreme I mounted and swung the Benelli much better. The A400 is significantly larger than the Benelli and I wasn’t the most comfortable behind it. I saw some...
I bought the LabRadar for use with the variety of options that we need: rifles, handguns, archery, etc.
I’ve had to buy a few extras over time, and likely could use a couple more (recoil trigger could be real nice to have), but I think it is well worth every penny.
I also bought an Apache case...
I get 160hrs of vacation, but we work a 9/80 schedule (80 hours over 9 days). That means we get every other Friday off, which is definitely a nice.
Some other folks get 240, but have significantly more time with the company.
Fair enough and I figured as such! Just didn’t know if there were specifics. I hunt with a few gentleman that prefer varmint style / weight deer rifles and they tend to say the same thing - they just feel better to them.
When I first started running ultramarathons, I was using Body Glide. I found that in heat, it starts to really run - to the point of dripping down your legs or your chest. I jumped to Squirrel Nut Butter, but had issues with it in cold weather races (solidifying and hard to apply).
I have...
I own three 452s in 17HM2, one standard American, one maple American, and one Varmint (and I am also in the works of having a 452 FS currently in 22LR relined with a 17HM2 liner). I tend to prefer the American’s for woods carrying and small game hunting, while the Varmint gets the nod for ground...
I’m also on the CZ 452 train. I’d take the 17HM2 of the cartridges offered! I absolutely love the cartridge. It has been my go-to squirrel cartridge, in the 452 platform, for nearly 10 years.
