I organize and scan photos/slide as a side gig, and have a few suggestions:
1. determine what you want to save FIRST before scanning. Not worth the time to scan a bunch of slides you don't want to use later. Crappy pics or ones of scenery you don't remember or can't way where it was...don't...
+1 for General Grabber ATX. Same tread pattern as BFG KO2 and I'm seeing much better tread life than my previous pairs of KO2s. Oh, and many tire punctures can be avoided if you drive more slowly on shale
Purchased three years ago, slept in a few nights and put away dry, basically new condition. Includes the mattress pad.

I've had good luck with the Browning Strike force cameras. Have several that have been running for 3+ years. The 850 series is a solid camera and you can find them in the $100-125 range: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1395853-REG/browning_btc_5hdx_strike_force_850_extreme.html
I guide in Northern Maine and two of these work just fine: https://www.amazon.com/ALPS-OutdoorZ-Commander-Frame-Coyote/dp/B07RXWWD65/

@walnuttree Congrats on your moose tag! I guide with Oxbow Outfitters and have a guided hunt that same week in zone 6. Just curious who you ended up hiring as a guide, there is a chance I know your guide and that we will run into each other that week!
I'm a Maine resident (and also guide moose hunts). Two of my cousins drew tags in the same zone/week, so I am guiding them both that week...no pressure!
Been guiding in Northern Maine for 7 years and have noticed fewer winter kills from ticks the past two winters. It's unclear if this is due to lower moose densities, or less infestation from ticks., but it has been encouraging to see,
