Great podcast. You guys are really bringing up some interesting topics. I’m trying to sort through all of this and hoping for an opinion.
My parameters are:
- I live in CA and will follow the non lead rules while hunting in state for deer, pig, bear. Out of state hunts I’ll hunt with whatever...
This podcast is very informative and entertaining. I hope you guys keep it up.
I just listened to the episode with Dioni. A forthcoming tikka product was mentioned but not named. Is this public information yet? Thanks
Thanks for taking the lead on this. However long it takes. Are you taking contact info for serious buyers or do you plan to post to this thread if the group buy ever happens?
I like the trekking pole cross feature and the guy out points a few feet up from the bottom to increase usable space. Drying out gear with a stove and something to hang things from seems to be one of the features that makes a tipi really stand apart from other shelters. Great looking tipi.
Not sure exactly what you mean by bank account. But starting with less expensive optics has been more expensive for me in the long run. I could have found a way to afford the better glass, but I had a hard time justifying the cost at the time.
No need to be specific, but are you asking about the Sierras or the Northwest part of the state?
If you are asking about the Sierras, if you find the podcast episode on the Huntin Ain’t Easy podcast about bears in the eastern sierras, the guest in the episode offered up his contact for...

I changed out the stock (had it professionally bedded) , new bottom metal, factory trigger to lowest weight setting, added a muzzle...
I went with the Arca setup so that I can have a secure attachment of my binoculars, spotter and rifle all on the same type of connection. For my rifle I went with the full length Arca plate because it gives me 9” of adjustability on my tripod and also on my bipod.
Most bipod attachments are...
I just received an Ollin / iPhone 14 / Vortex Razor Gen 2.
Everything so far in this thread is pretty accurate.
My first impression is that it definitely inhibits the outer edges with the adapter on vs off. I would not glass for game with the adapter on. With the adapter on, it’s not so...
I think a paid for content model would eliminate a very high percentage of the content. It wouldn’t be worth their time because they wouldn’t get any notice or income from it.
I’d like to see everything as a paid for subscription service instead of the sign up for free, watch for free, participate for free advertising model.
I’m guilty of using it. I watch YouTube and listen to free podcasts. No IG or Facebook for me. But I don’t have the option to subscribe or...
