Tikka t3x comb or cheek piece add on?

Yeah, I was referencing that Allen version--that one is RH only. I did end up ordering the Midway one and will check back in once I get it in and on the gun. The thing was $16 so... well, we'll see.

Tikka t3x comb or cheek piece add on?

Alas, I shoot left handed and, therefore, am persecuted and discriminated against at every turn! However, this lil' guy from Midway looks interesting: https://www.midwayusa.com/product/101962403 The material at the cheek sure isn't suede, but it can be ordered left-handed, has the extra velcro...

Tikka t3x comb or cheek piece add on?

Does anyone have a trail weight on a Triad Stock Pack? This one: https://triadtactical.com/triad-stock-pack/ Also, looking at this one. Ugly and neoprene always ends up stinking something fierce if it even thinks about touching sweat, but it comes in at half the price of a Triad plus free...

    Rangefinder choices

Last Friday I picked up a Sig Kilo 1800 new in box on Ebay for $259. Cheapest I've ever seen it by a damn sight. It arrived a couple days ago and I dig it. A lot. As far as Sig is concerned, there's no issue where it came from. 5 year no-fault, no-questions-asked warranty is honored on their...

    Rangefinders - Sig v Leupy v Vortex v Nikon v ?

Ended up going with the SIG SAUER KILO1800BDX. Found a great price on Ebay. Just got it in the mail and I'm super impressed with the glass, read out, and overall fit and finish. Very optimistic about field performance. Wanted to share an image of the box insert that does a fantastic job...

    Rangefinders - Sig v Leupy v Vortex v Nikon v ?

For a long time I thought I wanted a Vortex Ranger; long enough ago it was the 1000 I had my eye on. Of course, they've since upgraded and now I'm a little more serious about dumping my old RF for something with a little more to offer. I've not scratched Vortex off my list, but I've seen some...

    Input on Schnee’s Timberlines

They are and I really want that to be true. I need a treadmill that pitches up to at least the angle of repose. If I can get on one of those and walk for a couple hours then I'd know a heckuvalot more. Maybe I can fake interest in joining a big box gym just to go for a conveyor belt hike...

    Input on Schnee’s Timberlines

Coincidentally, I just received a long-awaited pair of Timberlines in the mail a few days ago. When I opened the box late that night after the kids went to bed I was immediately impressed by the obvious build quality. And, for such a substantial boot, one would expect it to weigh much more...

    Crocs - who wears them

I figured this type of shoe made by any fool or their brother was all the same. Walked around in a borrowed off-brand pair for a weekend and didn't at all understand the hype. My Rainbow flip-flops have ruled my relaxed-feet world for 15 yrs. Enter my buddy's kid with his legit Crocs. This...

Mounting options for Leupy VX2 on a TIKKA T3x chambered in .30-06

Update: Got 'em. Michael Tawn from Tawnado Ariguns in the UK emailed me shipping confirmation less than 12 hrs after I ordered the Sportsmatch rings from him. They were in my mailbox four days later. Impressive. Buy with confidence. Also, for anyone that finds this thread down the line...

Getting a better cheek weld - Tikka T3x

Don't have one, but learned of these on here and read good things. Seems like definitely the sleekest option compared to the others mentioned in this thread. Note that you'll have to remove a section of the deadening foam in the T3X stock, but there are YouTube videos showing this done...

Mounting options for Leupy VX2 on a TIKKA T3x chambered in .30-06

Mounting options for Leupy VX2 on a TIKKA T3x chambered in .30-06

OK, so I've learned a few things: 1. Sportsmatch got back to me and recommended I use www.tawnadoairguns.com out of the UK to order the rings. They are listed as "in stock" and the price is £16.67 plus £9.99 shipping. At current exchange rates that comes out to $35.36 delivered. I ordered a...

Mounting options for Leupy VX2 on a TIKKA T3x chambered in .30-06

FYI, JR: I've reached out to both the AZ retailer and Sportsmatch themselves. I'll circle back here after I get a response from either/both and let folks know what's what. I also checked Ebay, but didn't find anything. Sent from my SM-G930V using Tapatalk

I also had these on my list and am glad you mentioned them. Put in an email to the only US retailer that I could find out of AZ. We'll see about pricing and availability. I'll also say, Form, that I really appreciate the the pics of your Tikka. That well-used & well-earned rifle you've got is...
