I have a Seekins precision Havak PH2 which they chose to go 1:10 with on their barrels. Only have experience with factory ammo so far, but it shot the 212 eldx and 225 eldm just fine. Hope some others chime in though. Been wanting to try some of the 200 LRX bullets soon
I’ve tried a ton of cheapos and find the best value for image and reliability to be the primos cameras (proof gen 2 and the mugshot)... the absolute best value is the tactacam reveal cellular cam though ... hard to find, but for 99 dollars they blow my 200 dollar spypoints outta the water ...
Used to exist but I want cabelas to make their gaiter/hiking boot hybrids again. Were the best boots on earth for changing terrain. Have searched high and low for em or even something similar that isn’t $400
Wanted to run my idea by some more experienced travelers. Will be flying through Bethel on AK Airlines. We are planning to take about 10 of the (sturdy kind )18gal totes up. The plan is to stack them together on the way up then post hunt.. freeze meat inside contractor bags, seal them up, and...
Not sure, but if you mean you are driving from US to Toronto airport , be sure to fill out the CB 4457 form. ( you get this filled out and dined by customs on the US side BEFORE crossing into Canada) .... kind of weird driving into and visiting US customs beforehand but they will sign whatever...
Have spoken with and also heard good things about Patey and Sons , although have no personal experience with them. Ended up going to Alberta.. lots of NF outfitters there to speak with though
Literally just made this switch. Bought the petzl pandion for $49. Very adjustable for different types of clothing and only comes in one size fits all, due to that fact. I also purchased the Hunter Safety System Tree Rope (not the lifeline) for tying into tree. You simply loop it around tree...
They tried the sharpshooters last year in PA and met too much pushback. Now they are considering multiple long open firearm seasons, increased tags , pulling back antler point restrictions, “incentive programs”, mandatory testing, and if that’s not enough... sharpshooters.

Not pretending to have a correct answer for management of the CWD crisis but seems like its being taken to the extreme. Just wonder if thinning the herd really solves the problem since the...
If you’re looking for a cheap option that might only get moved once or twice a season I like the sportsman’s warehouse- guide gear combo for $99. Plenty sturdy, 20 ft tall, and more options tree wise than a typical ladder stand. Not light enough to carry around daily, but that’s what the lone...
Can’t speak to the outfitter in question but highly recommend Wild Kakwa Outfitter in the Grande Prairie AB from personal experience. They just went 16/16 on their rifle hunts this fall and will work their tail off for you.(Great moose density) They get a hand full of 50+ every season. Happy to...
Hi all,
