WTB Hunting Rifle in 308 for under $1k

I would look for a Weatherby Vanguard. They are great for the money. They are kind of like a R700 with all the flaws fixed. I have 3. My latest is a Badlands in .308. bought it for $699. it's a tack driver Also have a .243 and .270. My personal opinion is they are a better action that the...

    Best bang for buck scope

Midway has the Vortex Diamondback HP 4-16x42 for $199. Also have Vortex Viper 2-10x44 for around $259. I have both. The Diamondback HP has the same glass and is a lot better deal.

    Best bang for buck scope

6x for hunting may be too much if the animal appears close. It sucks to lose an animal because you couldn't find it in the scope.

    Best AR for Coyotes…

If you are getting 3/4"" groups with factory FMJ you have about the most accurate guns I have ever seen or heard of. I personally have over 30 and know a lot of people with a lot of guns. Never seen one that accurate even with some damn expensive barrels. Even the best are lucky to get MOA just...

    6.5 Grendel

I have an 18" and a 20" from sixfiveoutfitters. They are both very accurate. They were group buys but they just sell the barrels themselves any more

    Best AR for Coyotes…

One thing to keep in mind if you have to carry it long distance is weight. I've made all my ARs fairly light weight due to the fact I hunt with them. I try to keep my barrels under 30oz. It sucks carrying a heavy weapon.

    Which coyote round

I've used all those and several more calibers. I liked the 110 Vmax out of the 6.8 or Sierra 85s for the 6.5. I've always favored the 6.8 though. You can tell it hits harder. If using a 5.56/.223 I stick with a 55-60 gr Ballistic tip. If shooting Vmax I'll use 60gr. The 55s tend to splash. I've...

Coyote Hunting/Calling Noob - What am I doing wrong?

I hardly ever use prey sounds any more unless it's really cold or bad weather. Being in the east coyotes have a lot of food. I learned a long time ago to use coyote vocals. Also see if you can get them to answer back. If they do move closer. Most won't travel far or go up steep hills. Most also...

    WTS/WTT Robertsonscoot SCAMMER

Pay pal won't cover anything firearm related even if it's not F&F. You can pay the fee all you want but unless you can somehow try to show proof with out it being related then you may be SOL

    .350 legend brass bulge

It looks like it may be unlocking early. You can try a heavier buffer or an adjustable gas block to slow it down

    Best bang for buck scope

Eurooptics had Vortex DiamondBack HPs 3-12x42 on clearance for $169. They have Viper glass and are great scopes. Usually cost twice that much.

    Powder Dispenser reviews

They did have the chargemaster 1500 on close out at Natchez not long ago. I ended up buying the newer version called the Chargemaster Supreme. I like it. It learns the powder and gets faster. Honestly though it's fast enough with out learning. If I could do it again I'd probably go lite or...

    Reliable non-dialing scope

I have 3 Leupold's and never had to re-zero them. I don't know what people are doing to have to. It can't be that big of a problem or people wouldn't buy them and they sell a ton. For a non dialing scope they are awesome. They have great glass and about the lightest weight of any scope.
