And Poser, when I talk about mass, I'm talking about the extra muscle you inherently add by doing heavier compound lifts. I'm no bodybuilder, but I do have quite a bit of muscle. Not everyone who lifts heavy cares about aesthetics, I like pizza too much to give a shit about any of that 🤣🤣
If you think having large leg muscles is a detriment when hunting, you're not reading the right studies. When it comes to hiking steep terrain, especially with heavy loads, mass is a big positive. Any big guys struggling in the mountains may have neglected cardio pre hunt
I'd you can do 6-8 reps of 405, you're pretty close to elk hunting shape.
JK, like stated do whatever weight you can comfortably, and PROPERLY perform the lift with. 5-7 reps is what I personally like to do, but I'm a strength and mass guy, so go with what fits you. Want some good tips and...
Oh I completely agree that it is a very serious issue, just not sure if 5 days without it is that much of a concern unless you're debilitated by it, which maybe some are.
I'm not sure sodium is the big bad wolf it was made out to be. I have controlled HBP, and my sodium intake doesn't affect it. A dr once said, you know your food has too much sodium when it tastes too salty. In other words, if it tastes good, eat it, and dont worry about the sodium amount.
I've never gone with a machine or appliance. At home I'm a mess, but I'm extra motivated while hunting, and just push through. Naps are so much better in the mountains anyways lol
It's a mouthpiece that positions the lower jaw to keep you from having apnea incidents. They're made custom for each patient, and are adjustable to fit perfectly. With insurance, mine was $600 out of pocket. I couldn't get used to a CPAP. There's also a new implant that goes under the chest...
Somewhat main rifle for deer/ antelope. I'm shooting a 6.5 grendel, accurate to 800 yds, good for deer and lope to 300 yds. Pros: accurate, easy to shoot, no recoil, semi auto is nice, cons: loud when you chamber a round, a little bulky.

A guide in AZ isn't necessary, but finding deer there can be tough. I know my areas like the back of my hand, and would still go a day or 2 without seeing a buck from time to time. . If you have the money, go for it
Agree completely with how well AZGFD manages the state. Seriously consider getting into quail hunting and getting a pointer. You can even hunt wild pheasant down in Yuma. Dove hunting has to be the best in the country. Deer and javelina tags can easily be had every year, and when you learn...
Cardio all you want, but if you're not doing heavy compound movements that will work your core, you're wasting your time. Squats and deads will do more for you than a stairmaster.
Tasty rarely means its good for you when it comes to protein bars. A lot of them are candy bars with protein. A lot of the ones mentioned already are pretty decent bars.
