    I have been doing GE hunts in Montana since the mid 89s and have never been let down. Lots of Opportunities for a general tag. I can honestly say every trip I have had a opportunity or more than one opportunity to take a shot at a elk. Now whether I took that shot is for a different thread.

    I have used the L tape for quite a few things with no issues. It and the tent and pad repair patches is about 1/2 the weight of a partial roll of duct tape with the center removed..

    I average right at 40-50 days a year. Not including scouting . Includes Elk Deer and Turkey.

    Black Diamond Alpine Carbon Cork here. I have always used cork handles they seem to have better grip and don't get slippery in the rain or from sweat.

    I have a pair and I had to get them a half size larger than I normally wear. I was lucky enough to be able to try them on first. You will like them. The only thing is the soles are a bit narrower than I would like.

    I just carry a roll of Leukotape and a tent and pad patch kit which weigh nothing. Ditched the duct tape a few years ago.

    I have the same camera but a different spotter. I went to the hardware store and made one out of PVC fittings. The only trick is to get the lens of the camera while at full telephoto as close as possible to the spotter lens without the two touching. It took a few minutes to find the pvc fittings...
