Hello, I am looking at ordering a Seekins havok element. Do any of you in the Anchorage, Wasilla area of Alaska have one of these rifles that I could hold and look at? I want to put my hands on one before I order it. Thanks in advance
I've researched trail cameras quite a bit, but I want to hear the bottom line from those of you who really know....... Is there a good camera out there that can operate where there is no cell phone coverage, very wet and cold, and send pictures real time to your cell phone? Need it for Alaska in...
Anybody have any experience with which is warmer? the Uncompahgre claims 100 grams of insulation and the compressor claims 80. Whatever is the warmest is what I'll be buying. These will be used alot in Alaska so the temps can get really cold and I want to buy something good. Thanks guys
Ok guys, I finally got done with my review. I had a pair of Vortex diamondbacks, Meopta meopros, and Maven c1 all in the 10x42. I spent hours behind each and side by side to compare differences and wanted to pass it on to those who are looking at a midrange priced binocular. It's been a 2 month...

I've shot alot of big revolvers and done all the research I can stand and narrowed it down to 2 calibers. I'm either gonna buy a 44 mag or a 454 casull and wanted to get a few opinions. Nothing longer than a 5 inch barrel also. Looking to move to Alaska so I have this in mind as a sidearm for...
After working on my review for a couple weeks to really get a good feel for all of the binos, the meoptas started to give me a headache so I'm sending them to meopta with suspicions of collimation problems. Once I get them back I'll post my final review. Sorry for the wait, I really like those...

I now have a pair of vortex diamondbacks, Maven c1, and meopta meopros in the 10x42 and will do a thorough comparison, review and post it up here. Thanks guys for the replies
And that's the dilemma haha. I couldn't find much comparison on the internet yet so I thought I could help other people out too and get this discussion going. I haven't heard of anyone looking at both to compare yet
Thanks for the help, I'm getting alot of good stuff on the Mavens so I'm leaning towards them for being cheaper than the meoptas. Anybody else like the meopros?
Ok, I'm torn between these two binos. Need opinions to decide. I can get the Maven for $330, or I can get the Meopro for $420........ Is it worth the extra money for the meopta? Using them for sheep, mule deer, and elk hunting, Alaska and Idaho. Any info is appreciated. The Meopta claims 50 more...
Meopta meostars by cabelas, non hd. Perfect condition, used only around the house. I just don't need a $1,300 pair of binoculars for around the house. Covered by cabelas and Meopta lifetime warranty. The pictures have some dust on them, lenses are perfect, no scratches. Asking $660. I'm still...
My mistake, I apologize. I called meopta to clarify and turns out these are Meostars, non hd............... To correct that I'll bring them down to $660. Sorry for the confusion, surprised me even
