Correction, I reached out to beretta support and the twist is 1:11. Price will be dropped 80 bucks as a result. The manufacture date was early this year so apparently tikka is still sending out 1:11s. Make sure to reach out if you see one in store.

PayPal/Venmo preferred, I know I am new here but I have sold some things on the Carolina firearm forum before. I can prove in other ways if...
I’ve had quite good luck with 130 and 95 tmks in 6.5 and 243. Shouldn’t have too much trouble finding ammo for either cartridge but the 6.5 would be a bit easier. I do seem to use my 243 more often than the 6.5 but it’s a toss-up honestly.
I have a Howa mini in 223 kitted out with an Oryx chassis and MDTs 10-round magazines (other stuff as well, but it can be parted out and used on other platforms). The problem is that with six types of factory match ammo and four different reloads, it simply cannot group better than 1.5” for five...
I would be a bit worried about penetration at that velocity especially if it’s a close-range situation. If you put it in the neck it probably wouldn’t be an issue though.
Yeah not a fan of them either, unfortunately there are quite a few here in SC, especially on my lease. They won’t allow trapping however so I figured this is my best bet. There are some coyotes too but it’s hard to see them because of the timber density.
Thanks for the advice! What bolt gun contour are you running and do you find yourself taking more than 2-3 shots per “engagement”? Trying to decide on barrel contour. Thanks again!
I saw that one but it didn’t seem like many were including hogs in their preferences. I also plan to run a factory tikka chambering/twist/contours so my question is regarding those constraints. Maybe it is too specific and apologies if so. Thanks for the help
Just got a Pulsar Thermion Pro 2 XP 50 in a trade and I’m wondering what would be best suited for it? I figure the 243 in an 8 twist would make longer range shots more feasible but the 224 would be cheaper to practice with. Also, would a superlite, roughtech, or ctr/varmint make the most sense...
