    Average shot distance on pronghorn.

    I've only shot four. Two at about 160 yards, and two at around 250 yards. Used a 25-06 and a 30-06 for my antelope. I've also missed one. Dang it.

    Not a brownie, an 8.5' Brooks Range grizz. I had no room left in the house for either a rug, or a full body mount... So, just had the hide tanned and draped it over the footboard of our bed. It's nice there. Looks good, and every night I am reminded of that awesome hunt, well north of the Arctic...

    While walking the dog today. Sometimes a fellow is at the right place, the right time, with a camera. You should have seen my bird dog. He's used to pheasants... Maverick sat right next to me and watched this bird soar just a bit overhead. :)
