I’ve been using an Osprey pack cover that I got free with one of my older summer backpacking bags. It’s worked great and kept all my stuff dry during some nasty weather. It’s been very durable, but I also try to be very careful with it.

I’m 6’ 2”, 260 pounds, 36 ish inch waist. Stone glacier crux evo fits me pretty well. I have wide shoulders and a wide chest so the shoulder straps do have to flare out a bit, but I haven’t had any issues and it’s comfortable. I’ve heard great things about Exo for bigger dudes. I’m gonna try one...
I like the Alaska Guide Creations harnesses. Little bulkier than the other two mentioned but I can fit my range finder, small survival kit, havalon/blades, headlamp, etc all in my bino harness.
The roll top stuff sacks from Walmart have been great for me. $10 for a 3 pack with a S, M, and L size. I’ve had one set for over 5 years that has gone with on lots of summer backpacking trips.

Stone Glacier is another great option, though spendy. If you know anyone in your area that has a Stone Glacier, Exo, Kifaru, MR, etc, definitely see if you can try em out with weight loaded in them. All those brands are great, but packs fit different people differently!
