    Would be helpful if you would specify exactly what is incorrect and what would BE correct. A lot of us have never hunted AK but have plans to at some point. Caribou is my son's dream hunt and we plan to make that happen before he leaves the house.

    Changing mods will do hardly nothing to a tuned Mathews. Especially an inch. I would be more worried about having a calm hold than having to take an hour to tune. Arrow length is fine. Ignore that part of the deal.

    You look a touch long. Like you say, you look stretched out. I bet it's tough to pull through on a step downhill shot. Shorter will make your hold more steady I bet.     Or even lighter with regular RIPs. I use RIPs for practice all year and then TKOs for hunting. With very similar weight up front the RIPs are ~30 grains lighter than the TKOs at the same 26.5” length.

    Fires are popping here in Montana daily. We went to Stage 2 restrictions here in Missoula last week. We have one active fire about 8 miles southeast of the house and had I think 4 or 5 starts within 20 miles in the past week. It’s pretty wild right now.
