slick trick magnum

Interesting question. I've shot slick trick 100gr standards and vipers for years. I like them a lot. Haven't lost a deer yet. I've never noticed any sound issues, but then again I shoot a 15 year old bow with no string silencer. I do want to get a quieter set up.

REI Magma 15 vs Kuiu super down pro 15

I have a magma 15. I found it to be high quality, fairly packable, and at $300 2 years ago, good value. I've used it with a neoair xtherm when it was 20 degrees outside and i was super toasty. I wouldn't be afraid to camp at 0 degrees with that combo. If you get the magna, I highly recommend...

Long shot/Odd ball tags

I've put in for all three KY (resident) elk tags every year for 7 or 8 years. Still waiting . . . Meanwhile I've caught the sheep bug. I'm thinking about applying for every sheep tag Nevada offers every year, including Ewe. Am I crazy to start building bonus points in 2022?

I agree with AZ hunter. Bivies make me claustrophobic. Roomy tent or nothing please Experienced AZ hunters, what months of the year is a tent or cot necessary to keep the scorpions at bay?
