Not apples to apples but.... I've got the 2017 Titan XD with the Cummins, it is the Pro4X trim package. Aside from DEF system issues, which thankfully were under warranty, I'm at 100k miles and have had ZERO other issues with the truck.
I do more dirt/rough road driving than most I would...
I’m neither really. Just thought it was a little dramatic that’s all.
I own about 6 different Cordovas. Far superior product to the Yetis that I owned and sold. Just doesn’t have the cool kid street cred I suppose.
You're probably right....but what you listed is also the exact problem we have with the invasion....
Our state doesn't give a shit about anything except for more money.
We welcome the refugees from the Coastal states with open arms and plow under open ground as fast as possible to build more...
I'm not sure I see the correlation between the Governors/Auction Tags going for huge prices and the price of Guided Sheep hunts going up.
You gotta remember, these outfitters have hard costs they have to cover and just like everything in the world....those costs go up every year.
If a gallon...
I feel like a neanderthal compared to some of you but my dog just goes in the back of the pick up....he doesn't get tied in or anything, just rides back there old school like dogs have been doing as long as I can remember.
Now I feel like maybe I'm abusing him after reading this thread :ROFLMAO:
I got to hunt a few years in North Idaho before the Wolves really sunk their teeth in, ain't no doubt that was the "good ol' days" compared to now as far as sheer Elk numbers and huntability.
I use Power Service pretty regularly in my diesel. It's approved by Cummins and every diesel mechanic I know (I live in a logging town so they are a dime a dozen here) claims that it is good for longer injector life.
It's a weird one for sure and I do see both sides of it.
I grew up and still live in North Idaho. For about the first 30 years of my life we did not have Grizzlies. Now they are becoming more and more common in the river drainage that my family recreates in as well as in the mountains...
My experience with this when it comes to Grizzlies is that folks are far more supportive of having them on the landscape when it's not actually in their backyard.
Something tells me if you had the chance of getting eaten by a Grizz every time you took your kids or dogs for a walk in the woods...
That's one I always wondered about too, they say idling is the death of those systems.
I went ahead and deleted mine so I don't have to stress about it anymore :ROFLMAO:
If an EMP shut everything down you wouldn't want to make it back to civilization, you'd be better off taking your chances trying to survive in the bush.
To me this is almost a "bow vs. rifle" question....each one has a time and place that they are going to be superior.
If I could have only one (I have both currently) I'd go with a quad. Sure they aren't as luxurious or comfortable as a Side by Side but they are more usable in a wide range of...
Fair point.
I'm just trying to think of "reasonable" solutions. I too want to be able to continue to basically hunt statewide for 3 months for all my years as well....but the realist in me doesn't see how that continues to happen as long as our population continues to skyrocket every year...
TLDR...
Has anyone suggested that if you shoot a Deer one year that you have to take the next year off?
Apply the same theory for Elk....
I think this would benefit in 2 ways.... less hunters on the ground year over year and also the hunters on the ground would be more selective and shoot...
