    Anyone else having shipping problems?

I’ve had a hammer on a Shiloh Sharps sticking out the side of a box and the muzzle of a FN Fal 50.42 sticking out the end of a box, but at least they were intact and functional! Agreed. A lot has to do with the packing.

    Anyone else having shipping problems?

Cardboard and bubble wrap on the example I showed. The seller took it back no questions asked and just got a check today that reminded me about it. Regardless, it was a nice rifle that had been through a century in the field but couldn’t make it through shipping across the Midwest. Sad.

    Anyone else having shipping problems?

Two of the last three guns that I’ve had shipped have arrived at the dealer with broken stocks. The boxes looked ok. One was slightly split at the wrist. The other snapped in half. I’ve used this dealer for years for transfers so I trust them. One was by UPS the other by USPS. Never had...

    Suppressor Advice for 7mm PRC

I’ve done the dedicated can idea twice. Each time I wished I’d built in more flexibility. Especially when you bake in the cost of the can and the stamp/wait time and having it sit in the safe 10 months of the year for me. I keep going back to the Omega as an example of a can to move around on...

    Fowling shots and barrel corrosion

Shooting a fouled barrel is best on the range. But to be honest, not sure it really matters at ml distance. Unless it’s really long range. I’ve kept ML loaded, un fouled, for almost a year. Real black powder And the bore conditioned with “wonder lube”. Using hot RWS caps... never had a misfire...

IRS Delayed the 1099 600$ rule for one year. See article

This is where one may sell the barreled action for $550, the stock for $500, the bases for $500 and the rings for $450. Oh, forgot the bolt so add another $500. Of course, to save energy and the environment, ship together in a single package. Just a thought.

    Muzzleloader - Help Wanted

If you can find RWS No 11 caps it will be worth the effort. They burn hot and have never had one not go off. Can’t say the same with all brands that I’ve used in the past. Enjoy!
