    Cable rod tuning , EVL34

Thanks fellas. I had the bow dialed in with BH and FP hitting the same spot out to 30y last month. I was grouping FP decently at 80y. I was looking over the bow after my last range trip. The set screws for the cable rod seemed loose. I tightened them down and my entire tune changed. Now I...

I have a slight right tear / point left tear. Would I move the cable rod slightly clockwise to correct ?

Fast Eddie XL micro adjust question (windage)

That makes sense. Thanks for making this! So counter clockwise to fix a field point that is shooting too far right Clockwise to fix a field point shooting too far to the left The bad thing is it's backwards for my MXT rest haha

Fast Eddie XL micro adjust question (windage)

Thanks. So I know how to sight in via the typical method (sliding the head left or right ) . But this sight has a micro adjust feature and no instructions lol. You're supposed to be able to slightly correct left and right misses with the click of a dial

Fast Eddie XL micro adjust question (windage)

For micro adjusting windage, I know I need to unlock the lever. But which direction does what ? If I am missing left, I turn the micro adjust clockwise ? If I am missing right, I turn the micro adjust counter-clockwise ?

Thanks. Good to know thumb releases aren't considered caliper style What type of material do you suggest ?

    BCY23 and Nock2it release

I think so and slightly smaller in diameter. The more I read, the more I see it's not recommended for caliper style releases. Guess I will take it off for safety purposes

    BCY23 and Nock2it release

Anyone using the two? I had heard BCY23 doesn't work well for caliper style releases. Should I be using 24? Thank you

    Paper tune question

Thank you Mouse! So I started twisting just the right yoke and am getting closer. Had to take a break to log back into work lol

    Paper tune question

Thanks all. ATA is measuring a hair short at 29.25", which makes sense since the draw weight is measuring 73#. Not sure if that's enough to cause my right tear issue ? Brace height is in spec Cam timing is perfect , checked on my draw board Drop away rest was also checked. I also tried...

    Paper tune question

it was shooting bulletholes with the factory strings. Not sure what could have gotten out of whack during the swap

    Paper tune question

It's a Hoyt. So I'm adding twists to one side and removing twists from the other side (all on the top cam)

Rest moved a little to the right. Same tear

    Paper tune question

Well I got cam timing perfect as step 1. Step 2: Added 2 full twists to the right yoke and removed 2 from left yoke. Still consistently getting this. My EVL34 (that I just did a string swap on) is shooting bulletholes and is broadhead tuned BTW: is my paper tuning reference wrong ? It says...

    Paper tune question

For a severe tear like this, should I be twisting my left yoke before I even think about touching the rest ? Bow is an Axius Alpha.

High letoff = longer draw length ?

I'm not sure the let off is accurate. It's set to 80%

High letoff = longer draw length ?

I'll draw it back again on my LSA HS2 and post the pic. Let me get some breakfast first lol

High letoff = longer draw length ?

It was at 30.25" previously and a tad too long. It feels just right now. I really can't tell the difference between 80 and 90
