    3FUL makes reasonably priced and functional trekking pole tents (Lanshan 1 and Lanshan 2), Naturehike tents like the CloudUp2 are heavier but similar in design to much more expensive tents (Big Agnes Fly Creek), Paria Outdoors also makes affordable backpacking gear.

    Looking for recommendations on cold weather jackets under $150,

    Third the Eddie Bauer gear. Stuff always seems to be on rediculous sale and is competitive (in all categories that matter) compared to jackets at much higher pricepoints.

    Mora knives are a great addition to any budget concious system. Another good budget option for backcountry hunters is Cascade Mountain Tech Carbon fiber trekking poles. Come in at around 48$ and are solid!
