I own both. My Lite is set up strictly for low light, so weight isn't my concern. It's topped with a Schmidt Bender Polar. My CTR wad put on a diet. Put it in a T3x stock, same bottom metal and mags. Also pulled off rail and use UM rings. It's topped with Trijicon Credo Hx. The CTR as it sits is...
I agree totally with the illumination. I wish it was just the center dot rather than the whole reticle. The reticle is rather thin to use in thick hardwoods, but is still very nice. I have a different opinion on the glass though. To my 51 year old eyes, the glass is very nice. I have SB's...
Pulled the heavier Arken and installed a trijicon credo hx. Also pulled the rail and installed UM tikka rings. Now it just like a short barrel heavier contour tikka t3. And it's only .76 lb heavier than my T3 lite in 308.
Yes. But the Ridgeline stock had a larger barrel channel than a t3 lite or t3x superlite. Just means that you will have to remove a little more material than I did to get it to fit. Other than the OEM bottom metal and mag, you will need the mag spring clip which could be purchased separately...
I had seen that you offer 300 WM in the "Long" version. I had briefly seen 7mm rem mag in the same "Long" version. Do you still offer the 7mm Rem mag "Long" version?
- Sportsmatch has a recoil pin in one ring in order to help from shifting.
- UM rings have pin in both the front and back and are movable. Meaning the ring placement give you more options being the recoil pin is separate from the rings.
- UM rings utilize bigger screws, thus allowing more...
Mine is a Tikka ridgeline takeoff stock that I silghtly opened the barrel channel some. Use standard T3x bottom metal and mag. As others have said, it will leave a gap on the original CTR stock.
I posted earlier. Since have taken the Arken off and replaced with a trijicon credo. Also pulled thr rail and put UM rings. Like it is, it weighs .74 lbs less than my T3 lite with the 56mm Polar. Like it alot.
Like I mentioned earlier in this post, acetone!!! Pull barreled action out of the stock. You can remove the bolt as well. Take a rag and soak it with acetone. Drape the rag over the action so that the acetone will sit on the epoxy a while. This allows it to somewhat soak in. I then took a...
Mine rides in the gun rack on my polaris ranger going down our trail to my property. It is by no means a hwy and is bumpy as hell. Im sure the gun, being the rack is rigid mounted, takes a shaking pretty good every time I go down it. Now, I don't throw out my deer stand like some just to...
I was in your same boat right before hunting season. I was looking at Peterson, and the reason I was looking at peterson was that they offered a 300wm Long version and normal 300WM brass. The long was a longer case, not much, maybe .015" but what it did was help out with head case seperation...
I had a custom rifle built on a Rem 700 a while back that had my Klassik 2.5-10x56 on it. It had capped turrets. Just to give you an idea of what they look like. It did have illumination thus the knob on the left of optic.
