This is going to sound a little backwards - but my 300WM is almost the only rifle I have shot on the regular for the last 13 years since I got out of the Marine Corps. I am just now starting to "work my way smaller" with a 6.5 Grendel AR setup (besides a 300 Blackout SBR). But I have been...
Going through this list I am seeing the 6.5 PRC show up a lot more than I expected. I already have a 300 Win Mag but am debating how much work/ money I want to spend to get it into mountain shape. So is the 6.5 PRC a solid choice to build a lightweight rig off of? It seems to be getting a lot...
I have seen some hunts offered on private land in Oklahoma. A few of them looked like hunting from a blind over a feeder. There is a FB group called Texas Exotic Hunting Reloaded that has them posted from time to time.
I have been impressed with the Magpul AICS-copy mags. I picked up a Magnum magazine for my 300 WM last month and have used it a few times so far. They seem to feed well and hold up well to general abuse riding around in my range bag. When you factor in the price point the Magpul mags are hard...
Depends on your budget. I have used the Slime and Home Depot compressors for when I air down on different "out there" trips. My last trip I borrowed a Smittybilt compressor and really liked it. This summer when I retool some of my gear I am upgrading to a Smittybilt for the faster air ups and...
I am down the road from you in Granbury. I have an insulated garage door that works great; but the door is just part of it. You have to make sure to insulate the ceiling as well. I have a side garage that is insulated really well with the insulated garage door and it works great. My main 2 car...

My daily driver (minus the roof top tent) is a 2001 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 with a supecharger and rear locker. I only have 308k miles on it with a new Toyota transmission put in at 300k miles. I plan to drive the wheels off of it. The rig is setup nice and goes anywhere I point it.
Just my experience; find a suppressor you want and see if it has a specific brake/ adapter it is designed to work with. Save yourself the $$ and time. Buy once, Cry once, Smile every time you use it.
I will reuse it for a session; but not if there is a long period of time between cleaning sessions. I tend to run my reloading in sessions a few months apart.
I have no clue how old that article is but I know I have done the clean and shiny method for years and years from it. Great way to do it - my only change is that I load the brass in the container neck down so as any dirt crud falls down and out.
