Yes seirra bullets have been hit or miss for a few years. I’ll be curious how that new bullet stacks up against the vmax. Hopefully it doesn’t fragment as quickly, so it gets more penetration on quartering shots. I’ve used the seirra 55 spt for a couple of years now, they work great out of a 250.
Only time to wait an entire night is if you are out of options, it’s dark and you need daylight to move your search forward.

Yes - lots of changes in the last couple of years. I’m guessing things will continue to change for deer and antelope, so will need to relearn new draw regs/draw odds every year. Pics below are from the new big game guide.
I see people struggle because the local bow shop has no idea what they are doing. Incorrect draw length and arrows that either won’t tune or will be a pia to tune. I also see guys chasing their tail with crazy arrow setups, buying whatever new components they saw on social media, before they...
Big Agnes with a good pad is key. I tried it with their insulated pad and it wasn’t great. I’ve had my zero degree bag on an therma rest xtherm in temps below zero on some rifle hunts and it is comfortable.
I have been able to compare these exact binos for a few years now side by side. The easiest way for me to explain it is - for finding animals/general hunting, I don't see a major difference/advantage. Looking at specific animals the swaros are noticeably better. With the conquest you will be...
