    Keeping stuff from freezing

    It’s the same principle as you stated, but warm the surrounding area as best you can and then wrap it with an old sleeping bag inside a cooler. Depending on how cold it is and how often you’re in the cooler, but it’ll usually last for a couple days before you need to reheat again.

    I think the special draw price increase won’t have much effect on applications. Some folks only get 1 maybe 2 shots at going west to hunt, they plan it for years. Adding another $1,000 to it won’t slow most people down. As for the folks that go west every year, they have a pretty fine tuned...

    Pros/Cons of where you have lived

    Nebraska- Pro’s-Red state, Christian values, most people are good. Good hunting on the right property, good walleye fishing. Con’s-Hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Windy. Very little public land 3% of the state or something like that. One of the highest taxed states in the country...

    6.5x 284 Bullet selection

    I used a 140 VLD-H out of my 6.5 prc this year and wasn’t impressed with how the bullet basically fragmented on impact. I’m going back to 143ELDX’s.

    I have 2 daughters. My oldest is 17 and loves hunting (and she’s pretty darn good at it) my 14 year old has little interest, but sees the importance and understands why we hunt.

    My 17 year old daughter’s first year hunting elk. She wanted to do a cool hunt during her senior year. 7 days in a tent with spotty internet is tough for a teenager in this day and age, but challenging her and watching her overcome adversity makes for an incredible memory. God is good!

    Pressure Washer Euro Help

    Rather than buying a PW-I’ve done quite a few taking the boiled skull to the car wash and using their facility. They usually have good power and cleanup is nothing but driving away.

    We had to break it down in the bottom of the canyon, we weren’t getting him out whole. So we’ll never know the weight. Alan and his crew killed one of the same caliber a few years prior and it weighed 200lbs and I believe they killed another one last year that was right at 190-200 also.

    Alan Bennett with Pinnacle Outfitters in New Mexico runs a great operation. Fantastic hounds and knows the country well. I killed this B&C Tom with him a few years back
