Sub $200 binos for kids
I currently have them all- 6x30 and 8x30 YF, Bue Sky II 8x32, SLC 8x42, and UVHD+ 7x42. I've compared them all side by side, and even did some again today. To my eyes both YFs have better sharpness and contrast in the CENTER of the view, compared to the Blue Sky. Almost as good as the SLC and... -

LNIB used Meopta Meostars HD VS new Tract Torric UHD Schott Glass

Do you mean Razor UHD? I have SLC 8x42 and they are in a completely different class than the Razor HD. They are true premium (alpha) glass. Brightness, resolution, edges, chromatic aberration control, eye cups, armor, build quality, all easily go to the SLC. The UHD gets closer to the SLC... -

Oh nice! If you like the 8x, I think you'd like the 10x even more. The AFOV in the 10x is bigger which gives a more immersive view compared to the smaller AFOV in the 8x. -

Sub $200 binos for kids
I agree Sightron Blue Sky 8x32 is a great option in that price range. BUT, there is no warranty that I am aware of or maybe just for a year or so... Can't beat Vortex Warranty for kids. I'd consider Kowa YFII 8x30, it is better optically than the Sightron Blue Sky II and blows Vortex... -

Optically, I think the HD is at the bottom of the list you gave. Order of preference for me would be 1 Toric UHD 2 Conquest HD 3 Razor HD or MHG (which ever was cheaper) I bet Tract will have a discount coming up, they usually do. Or there is a used Toric 10x42 in the classifieds that is... -

Black Friday deal should I?
For $200 bucks not a bad choice. You can always return it if you don't like it. Personally, I'd save the $200 and put it toward better glass down the road.
